T-Pad. Mobile Side Table. Lande. Artifort. Netherlands
In cooperation with the Dutch furniture manufacturer Artifort, two developed a mobile side table with integrated DIN A3 – writing pad for notes.
The table’s construction consists of a homogeneous curved steel sheet which is only statically supported by two stiffening rips on the inside. This way, enough legroom is provided under the table level which maximizes the personal comfort while using the t-pad as place of deposit or for writing. Furthermore, the side table is not able to be pulled towards oneself as close as one wishes, but also can be pushed over other furniture such as couches’ arm rests or benches.
The t-pad holds a full of suspense visual appearance due to the relation of mass and lightness which means the contrast between the table’s large surface and its thin side elevation. Furthermore, the product’s design is easily adaptable. Therefore, the writing pad can be personalized and the body can be ordered in customer-oriented colours.
T-pad serves as a unique, mobile and useful completion for every lounge and relaxing area.
