Claudia de Bruyn studied architecture and interior design in Düsseldorf with study-related stays in France and the USA and was subsequently awarded the BDIA sponsorship prize. In 1993 she joined the architectural firm Ingenhoven Architects in Düsseldorf, where she headed the interior design and product development departments until 2000 and was responsible for numerous major projects. She then founded the product development company “two_product” in Hamburg and Ratingen with the architect Achim Nagel and developed products for companies such as Carpet Concept, Vario, Visplay and Zumtobel. From 2001 to 2008, she was co-owner of the interior design firm Cossmann_de Bruyn in Düsseldorf, until she expanded “two” to include the “space” area of expertise (spatial development) at the beginning of 2009, with the aim of achieving greater interpenetration of the different disciplines.
