„TEC is an new generation of innovative flatweave carpetings with regards to manufacting process, special yarn development and an unconventional overall look. The glossy effect is the result of using neutral-in-colour synthetic glazed yarns which are intertwined with metal-fiber filaments of stainless steel to reap a flat pile yarn which is woven together jacquard-style on double- harness dobby looms to yield the coloured support fabric. It is only owing to this coloured support fabric with warp and weft of grey, blue, red, black, brown or natural colour cotton that the metallic gloss of the knops receives its special depth. Depending on design, i.e. density of knops, the colour will become more or less visible.
So TEC ennobles the floor in a calm conciseness and reflects the light in a special changeable way.”
